Philmont Advisor Programs in October and November

The Philmont Advisor Skills School (PASS) and Philmont Advisor Workshop (PAW) are exciting programs developed to better prepare adult advisors in confidently leading their crew in preparing for an upcoming Philmont trek. There are three different types of advisor training programs to choose from: PSR - PASS, Field - PASS, and PAW.

PSR-PASS
?A 4-day, 3-nigh weekend course at Philmont Scout Ranch. Various dates available in September and October.

Field-PASS
?An 8-hour Saturday or Sunday course in cities across the country. Field-PASS participants will learn about Philmont-issued gear, crew leadership positions, physical conditioning, travel, and more.

Nov 5 & 6 in Dallas/Fort Worth

Nov. 12-13 in Houston

?PAW
?A 2-hour evening course in cities across the country. Participants will learn about Philmont-issued gear, crew leadership positions, physical conditions, travel, shakedown hike, and establishing a crew Philmont committee.

Nov 1 - Austin, TX
